Septarian nodules
These round nodules are from Utah and are like the geodes except that they form in a sedimentary process. They all have star patterns that are the trademark of these nodules. Septarian nodules are fluorescent also because of the yellow calcite they contain and they take a great polish too! Most of the small and medium nodules are solid and the larger ones (>8 lbs) can have some hollow cavities inside. We currently carry small, medium and large Septarian nodules.
Small size nodules up to 4” in diameter
Medium size nodules from 4” to 6” in diameter
Large size nodules over 6” in diameter
Please note we do have slabs polished and unpolished to be purchase.
