Chihuahua, Mexico:
Uncut Geodes
Be the first person to see what is inside a geode for more then 100 million years! Over a hundred different types of minerals in the geode. We currently have geodes in museums such as the Smithsonian.
Our current available inventory:
“Guesser” Geodes:
They average 2 to 5 pounds. This lot of geodes has a varied of minerals inside each cavity of the geode. There are more then a hundred possible minerals found in each geode, so your “guess” is as good as mine. There could even be gold?! The common geode form in this lot has been solids to semi solids with blue and white banded agates. But again your guess is as good as mine, so cut a geode or two for yourself and enjoy seeing what nature has created.
Large lots available:
If you purchase over 50 pounds of “guesser” geodes, you can have a discount.
If you purchase over 100 pounds of “guesser” geode, you can have the best price.
Semi-solid Geodes (50/50):
They average 2 to 5 pounds. This lot of geodes is mostly made of amethyst crystals. As the name implies, this geodes is 50 % solid to 50% hollow. Also this geode runs totally solid and mostly hollow also. So take a chance and you will be happy with you geode(s) you have picked.
Hollow Geodes:
They average 1/2 pound to 4 pounds. This lot of geodes is mostly made of amethyst crystals. This geodes are likely to be hollow (95%). These are my personal favorites. Pick up a bunch of these to cut and safe in your personal collection.
Jumbo Hollow Geodes:
They average 3 to 7 pounds. This lot of geodes is mostly made of amethyst crystals. As the name implies, this geodes are jumbo and 90% hollow. These geodes are getting harder and harder to get. The 7" an over size are becoming a lost item due to no stock being mined.
No pictures yet.
Chocolate Geodes:
They average 3 to 10 pounds. These are 99.9% hollow inside. They have a smooth coat of calcite/quartz inside the cavity of the geode. Some are florescent because of the calcite inside. These are great geode to cut a face off the front of the geode to make the rest of the geode into a cave.
Little amethyst:
They average 1/2 pound to 2 pounds. These are 95% hollow inside. They have a inside of very dark amethyst inside the cavity of the geode. Very nice small geodes.
